On the day that Honda announced their longer 4-seat Talon chassis, they’ve also revealed they will be joining the off-road racing circuit!
Honda isn’t messing around either… They are bringing in team and engineering support from the other power-sports divisions (via Proctor Racing Group) to make the newly crested Team Honda Talon Racing. PRG has already won three races in 2019 and doesn’t look to be slowing down as they are working with Jackson Racing to develop a race compliant turbo upgrade!
Team Honda will continue to build and develop their Talon based racing vehicles and will begin racing in the 2020 season. Planned race events include:
- Ultra4 Racing King of the Hammers
- Mint 400
- UTV World Championship
- Best in the Desert Vegas to Reno
- SCORE International Baja 500
- SCORE International Baja 1000
Interestingly, Team Honda Talon Racing will also be at and supporting Honda Talon racers at non-SCORE events! If Honda’s history in the MX and other motor-sports are any clue, next year is going to be hot!
